Varrox Equipment Loan to Members
A Varrox vaporiser is a specially designed applicator to apply oxalic acid-based products for the control of varroa mites. DSBA has two Varrox Vaporisers which are available for members to borrow. The equipment runs off a 12V car battery which is also provided. The oxalic acid-based product and organic acid respirator mask are not provided.
The equipment is only available to members who have previously attended the sublimation training course at the apiary.
